We’re so fortunate to have a variety of great shops, restaurants, events, entertainment and just plain fun in our downtown—whether it’s for the holidays, or any day. As always, we encourage you to support your local businesses, especially when you are looking for that perfect gift for someone special on your Christmas list.

The Holidays are also the time to highlight our downtown business district and the Greater Downtown Council is here to do just that with our Winter Holidays campaign. Our very popular holiday gift guide “The Christmas City of the North Holiday Gift Guide” is well into the planning stages along with the annual holiday window display contest. We will also expand on Small Business Saturday to draw more attention and visitors to the downtown waterfront on Saturday November 24^th.

Participation in the GDC’s Winter Holidays campaign is a benefit of membership.
