Red Curtains Welcome in the Holidays
Red curtains are going up in the storefronts of 28 businesses in Duluth’s Downtown Waterfront on Monday, November 16th. It’s all part of the 4th annual storefront window display and lighting contest presented by the Greater Downtown Council.
Businesses will have the red curtains hanging in their windows throughout the week in order to hide the assembly work going on behind the scenes. Windows will then be unveiled on Friday, November 20th, prior to the Christmas City of the North Parade.
Visitors to the Downtown can vote on their favorite holiday window display and become eligible to win one of many fabulous downtown gifts donated by the merchants. All of the donated items will be on display in a storefront window at 11 East Superior Street in the Technology Village.
Please join us Monday, November 16th at Downtown Computer, one of our participating member businesses, as they hang their curtains and we kick-off this holiday campaign.
